Manuscript Components

The Research articles consist of title, author's name, abstract in Indonesian and English, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and recommendations, as well as a bibliography.

 

Review article consists of title, author's name, abstract in Indonesian and English, keywords, introduction, contents, conclusion, and bibliography.

 

WRITING GUIDE

Title

The title is written in Indonesian and is informative, concise, and not too long or short (5 -12 words) without including the year. Make the title clear, concise and attractive (Center; Arial Narrow font 16; Bold, 1 spacing; Capitalize Each Word [except conjunctions])

 

Writer

Names are written in full without mentioning titles, if ALL authors come from the same institution then NO coding is given (Center; Arial Narrow font 14; Bold, 1 space; Capitalize Each Word [except conjunctions])

 

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract is written concisely, the abstract is a maximum of 200 words containing the scope of the research carried out by emphasizing preliminary data from general to specific data. The abstract is written in 1 complete paragraph in Indonesian and English clearly, and completely describes the essence of the contents of the entire article.

 

Introduction

The introduction is presented in an integrated manner without subtitles. The total number of pages for the introduction is 1-1.5 pages written using Arial Narrow 12 point (upright) with 1.15 spacing. Each paragraph begins with an indented word with 5 digits. The final part of the introduction should state the research objectives

 

Method

The method is written in Arial Narrow 12 point (upright) with 1.15 spacing. The paragraph begins with an indented word of 5 digits and may not use the organization of writing into "sub-headings" in this section.  Displayed in 1-2 paragraphs and contains:

  • Research design
  • Location and time of research
  • Population and sample
  • Sampling technique
  • Data collection technique
  • Variables studied (including objective criteria for each variable)
  • Data analysis and
  • Presentation of data as well as ethical approval numbers and the issuing institution

 

Results and Discussion

Results and discussion are written using Arial Narrow 12 font, spacing 1.15, Justify.  Contains a presentation of the analysis results related to the research questions. The results represent a major part of scientific articles containing:

  • Research results are presented in the form of narratives, tables and/or pictures as well as statistical test results with explanations without discussion.
  • Tables and figures are equipped with serial numbers in the order they appear in the text using Arabic numerals.
  • The table title is written at the top of the table, while the image title is written at the bottom of the image using Arial Narrow font 11, Bold, space 1.
  • The table is presented without vertical lines/column lines. The contents of the table are typed in Arial Narrow font 11, spacing 1.15.
  • The discussion contains the meaning of the results and comparison with theory and/or similar research results. The discussion contains a concise statement of the important parts of the research results, supporting arguments, discussion of other relevant research results and the contribution of the findings to the enrichment and development of science and technology for society.

 

Conclusions and Recommendations

  • The conclusion contains a summary of the description of the results and discussion with reference to the research objectives.
  • Suggestions are prepared based on the research findings that have been discussed. Suggestions may refer to practical action, development of new theory, and/or further research.
  • Write conclusions and suggestions using Arial Narrow 12 point (upright) with 1.15 spacing. Paragraphs begin with indented words with 5 digits and may not use bullets or numbers. Displayed in 1 paragraph

 

Acknowledgments (optional)

If necessary, thanks can be given to 1) parties who provide financial assistance and support, 2) support from departments and institutions, 3) professionals who contributed to the preparation of the report

 

Bibliography

  • Writing the bibliography uses Arial Narrow font size 12 (with 1 spacing.
  • The bibliography is written according to the writing rules of the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition. Only include used and relevant literature.
  • The minimum number of library sources is 20 sources.
  • It is recommended that reference sources for publications in the last 10 years (2013-2023) be in the form of journal articles for at least 80% of publications from the total bibliography.
  • To maintain consistency in the way of referencing, citing and writing a bibliography, we recommend using the Mendeley standard reference application.
  • All references originating from journal articles must be searchable online.
